Only steps away from one of Hatteras Island's most pristine beaches, Moon Landing boasts all the amenities you need for a laid-back island get-a-away; 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, a private pool, a hot tub, 5 beach chairs, direct beach access, spacious ocean-facing decks outfitted with modern furniture, and close to many local hot spots - beach house living in style!

Ground Level: After a fun-filled day at the beach, guests can take a refreshing swim in the private pool, which can be heated, or simply snooze on the hammock or sun loungers. A fish-cleaning table, a gas grill, and an outside shower with hot & cold water round out this first-level playground. An additional perk is a carport and a driveway that accommodates up to 6 vehicles.

Mid Level: Located on the middle level you will find 4 beautiful bedrooms equipped with smart TVs and AppleTVs. Bedrooms #1 and #2 are each furnished with a Queen bed, a modern Jack-n-Jill bath with a roomy shower, private access from each bedroom to the covered ocean-facing deck, comfortable outdoor furniture, and a hot tub. Bedroom #3 is outfitted with a Queen bed and smart TV. Bedroom #4 is furnished with one Twin bunk bed and a smart TV. Bedrooms #3 and #4 share a sleek Jack-n-Jill bath with an oversized shower. Tucked away on this level, is a state-of-the-art front-load washer and dryer, ironing board, and iron with ample laundry space.

Top Level: The upper level showcases a modern vibe and lots of room to enjoy your family and friends. Plenty of open windows provide spectacular views and natural light. The main living area is tastefully furnished, equipped with a large SmartTV, and a telescope for star and moon gazing. You'll find everything sleek and streamlined, with sliding glass doors that lead to an oversized deck with magnificent beach views. Desirable open kitchen fully equipped with high-end appliances outfitted with ample cabinets, and generous counter space for preparing meals and entertaining. The family-sized dining table accommodates 8 guests. An oversized, oceanfront table with 3 chairs serves as a breakfast table or office workstation with a view. With the Cape Hatteras National Seashore as your backyard, you will enjoy seeing amazing sunrises over the ocean and watching wildlife as you step outside on the expansive deck and enjoy meals on the family-sized outdoor dining table, and drinks on a 2-person high-top table. Rounding out the top level - a chic and inviting king-size bedroom equipped with smart TV and AppleTV, charging stations in each nightstand, and an en suite bathroom is the perfect spot to end the day. The en suite hosts a dual vanity and a generous-sized steam shower.

Pool Heat is an additional $500 per week.

Linens and towels are provided all year. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub.

Booking: During the booking process you will be asked to enter a credit card number, nothing will be charged to this card. After booking, you will receive an email to sign your lease agreement and make your advance payment electronically. You will have 3 days to sign your lease agreement and pay your advance deposit to avoid cancellation. We offer optional travel insurance that you can opt in or out of on your lease agreement. Your final payment will be due 30 days prior to arrival. Reservations booked within 45 days of arrival will have 72 hours to sign the lease agreement and submit payment in full.

Moon Landing is a beautiful home and was perfect for our family of 6. The upper deck was nice to sit and have your coffee in the mornings. We had an issue with the fridge/freezer and Brindley beach was there within half hour to check it out.. I would definitely rent again from Brindley Beach.

What a beautiful home. The layout is perfect and it is beautifully decorated. Mornings on the front porch with the ocean view cannot be beat. Our family of five had a wonderful trip and will forever have great memories of this Outer Banks trip.

My family visited Moon Landing in April of 2023. I always wondered what the Outer Banks would be like for Spring Break..... answer..... AMAZING! The weather was warm enough to take walks on the beach day and evening, and there were surprisingly many things open that early in the season, i.e. bike rental. Moon Landing is very clean and extremely well maintained. The view is amazing, particularly in the evening and sunrise. My girls are teenagers and even rose early to see the breathtaking sunrises! The home is equipped with state of the art appliances and streaming services. The kitchen was better equipped than my own home. I believe that the owners have thought of anything we would possibly need for an amazing week of vacation at the OBX. The beds seem to be new and the linens, towels are very high quality. I would 100% book this home again for Spring Break -- or really anytime of the year for that matter.
